University Hall, UTS / Ultimo, NSW

University Hall at the University of Technology, Sydney.  Designed to be the University’s primary lecture space, the 450 seat auditorium showcased the University’s commitment to future upgrades of their Ultimo campus.  The auditorium is also let for public functions and well as teaching.

The project was to win the:

Merit Award for Outstanding Architecture

from the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (NSW Chapter) – Annual Architecture Awards 1994

and the

Certificate of Commendation – Outstanding Lighting Installation

from the The Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia
