Taronga Zoo / Sydney, NSW

The practice has worked with the Taronga Zoo over many years.  Either in association with the NSW Public Works Department or directly with the Zoo’s own Facilities Branch.  The architecture of much of our work for the Zoo tends to be “invisible”,  as exhibit enclosures and the like are required to be background to the splendor of the host animal.  Some of our most memorable clients have been wild ones.

  • Orang-Utan Exhibit – in conjunction with the NSW Department of Works.
  • Entrance to Aviary Pavilion and new bird feeding facility.
  • Redevelopment of Red Panda Enclosure.
  • Refurbishment of the interiors of the Zoo’s Function Centre.
